Liz Raphael Helgesen is the nation's premiere voiceover talent for automated phone, speech and communication systems. For more than 18 years, Liz has been 'the voice' that millions of people throughout the United States and the world hear every day when they call people on cell phones, use automated phone systems for banking and financial needs, are placed on hold when calling businesses, learn of public health outbreaks, ride public transit, apply for jobs and much more. It has been estimated that every one out of four Americans hear Liz's voice on a daily basis.

She also records voiceovers for commercials, corporate films, multimedia presentations, computer-based training and animated character voices.

Liz began her voiceover career in the early 1980's as the nation was just becoming used to the idea of leaving voice messages on a machine. She worked as a human resources manager for SouthernNet, a pioneer company in telecommunications, and began using her passion for helping people communicate in the emerging IVR (interactive voice response) business. She later became vice president of human resources and partnered with TalentPlus, focusing on leadership development and teaching effective communication skills to employees. Liz continued to blend her passion for helping people grow and communicate with voice talent work. By the late 1980's, she began giving public speaking engagements on morale building and creating healthy corporate cultures while lending her voice for corporate video narration for various companies. In 1996, Liz started her own company, Passion Fruit Productions, Inc. to focus solely on her craft.
